UNICEF Nigeria Country Office in Abuja, Nigeria is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven professional to join its team as a Planning Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about improving outcomes for children and contributing to meaningful change. If this describes you, we invite you to apply and become part of a dedicated and motivated team committed to delivering impact.
The consultant will undertake a revision of UNICEF’s existing Rights & Results Programming (RRP) learning programme, which comprises 3 parts, to ensure its continued relevance and alignment with the UNICEF Strategic Plan 2026–2029, the revised Country Programme Planning (CPP) Guidance, and the organizational changes introduced through the Future Focus Initiative (FFI).
The assignment will preserve the programme’s core approach, structure and learning value while updating its content, references, practical examples, exercises and facilitation materials to reflect the new strategic and operational context. The consultant will work closely with OSE to review, validate and finalize the revised learning package for delivery to UNICEF staff.
UNICEF PFP’s Foundations and FMBO Team supports a growing and increasingly complex portfolio of strategic partnerships, grants and opportunities with foundations, faith-based organizations and other partners. As this portfolio expands, there is an urgent need to improve the quality, completeness and accessibility of partnership data so that PFP, Regional Offices, Country Offices, National Committees and Centres of Excellence can make timely, informed decisions and manage partnerships more effectively.
UNICEF Ukraine is seeking four committed and technically strong Health Officers to support the delivery of health and nutrition programmes for children and families in the field offices of Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Lviv. Working in a context marked by the impact of war on health systems, increasing mental health needs, immunization equity challenges, and the need for stronger support to children with disabilities and other vulnerabilities, Health Officers will play a key role in advancing UNICEF's mission to ensure every child survives, thrives and reaches their full potential. The successful candidates will provide technical, operational and coordination support across programme planning, implementation, monitoring and partnership-building, contributing to both emergency response and longer-term health system strengthening efforts. They will work closely with government counterparts, health partners and UNICEF teams to improve access to quality child health, nutrition, immunization, early childhood development, mental health and rehabilitation services, particularly for the most vulnerable and conflict-affected populations. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the lives of children in Ukraine by helping to build more resilient, equitable and child-centered health systems at both local and national levels.
