UNICEF is seeking a consultant to develop a Strategic Roadmap that strengthens its global knowledge, learning, and thought leadership on social and behaviour change (SBC) for preventing harmful practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage. Building on UNICEF’s extensive investments in evidence, tools, partnerships, and innovative approaches, the roadmap will identify opportunities to enhance collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation, and the use of evidence across global and country programmes.
The consultancy will support UNICEF’s efforts to accelerate the elimination of harmful practices by 2030, strengthen its role as a global leader and convener in SBC, and provide practical recommendations for advancing learning, partnerships, visibility, and technical excellence in this field.
The consultant will design and implement a mixed-methods evidence synthesis that reviews UNICEF’s WASH systems strengthening support in a select number of countries. The assignment will analyze how support has been delivered, what outputs were produced, what changes in systems and service outcomes are plausibly linked to UNICEF support, and what lessons should shape UNICEF’s future systems strengthening off
To develop and test a public -private partnership model for expansion of the MCBP in the tea gardens, UNICEF seeks to hire a consultant who will work in close coordination with DWA, Bangladesh Tea Association (BTA) and district/ Upazilla health offices and DWA to provide technical support both at national and sub-national levels. In addition, consultant will also review the feasibility of scaling up of UNICEF supported MCBP Cash plus model in other geographic locations and develop a design document.
The Programme Assistant (G5) is positioned in the Programme Section, reporting directly to the Programme Associate. This position carries cross-sectoral functions of programme planning and operations, ensuring seamless coordination between technical teams, operations units, and external partners/service providers.
