Desarrollar los modelos operativos de las intervenciones y actividades transversales de la estrategia de UNICEF para contribuir a la reducción de la anemia y desnutrición crónica infantil, a partir de un trabajo de diálogo y sistematización con nuestro equipo de nutrición y, con dichos modelos operativos, estimar el costo requerido para implementar las mencionadas intervenciones y actividades transversales para un número determinado de beneficiarios, en un horizonte de tiempo y espacio geográfico especifico.
Proveer asistencia técnica especializada para fortalecer la estrategia de abogacía e inteligencia política de UNICEF en República Dominicana, mediante el uso de inteligencia política, análisis del entorno político, el mapeo de actores clave y la formulación de recomendaciones estratégicas para influir en políticas públicas, mediante las estrategias de abogacía y comunicaciones, alineado con el nuevo modelo de funcionamiento de UNICEF.
A highly qualified consultant is sought to lead, support, and oversee the implementation of the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) components within UNICEF's integrated Nutrition and Reproductive Health Project. This initiative is funded by BMZ/KfW. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination, providing technical support, and monitoring SRH activities in alignment with the project's result matrix. In addition, the role requires fostering strong collaboration among all relevant stakeholders and enhancing service quality while ensuring compliance with national strategies.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Chief Child Protection, the Programme Associate supports the child protection by carrying out a range of programme support functions to help develop, implement and monitor their country programme, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations. The Programme Associate works in close collaboration with a range of staff in the CO, external partners and agency counterparts in support of programme design and delivery. S/He provides regular feedback on the status of projects through monitoring milestones and advises on improvements to keep activities on track. The duty station for this post is Port Sudan.
The Nutrition Field Monitors will primarily provide to support programmatic visits/field monitoring, supportive supervision and capacity building for the CSOs implementing nutrition programme.
The objective of this consultancy is to support the UNICEF programme in strengthening integrated child health services, with focus on strengthening Primary Health Care (PHC), focused immunization programme and leveraging Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) to improve child health and development outcomes. The consultancy will contribute to advancing key priorities of UNICEF, in line with its programme planning for 2026-2030.
This consultancy is aimed at developing a national protocol for social workers based in medical settings on crisis management and disaster response. The consultancy also contributes to national roll-out of the protocol through training of the social work supervisors on implementation of the protocol.
