We are recruiting 2 temporary part-time OPS or STAS to conduct field assessments at multiple pine stands in Florida and Georgia for up to 16-24 hours/week throughout the 2025 Fall semester.
Essential functions and responsibilities:
· Assist in plot measurement and demarcation
· Conduct forest inventory measurements and forest health assessments within pine commercial stands
· Travel to different study sites located in Florida, Geogia, and Alabama, which may involve 2-3 consecutive days.
· Able to reach above head height to collect tree branches.
· Able to lift and transport items of up to 50 lb, such as forest inventory equipment, pole pruners, and saws, PVC pipes, and tree branches in uneven terrain.
· Assist in greenhouse tasks, such as watering and moving pine seedlings.
$15.00/ an hour. |
