OPS Student Assistant – Data Analyst- Accounting and Finance Support

• Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Florida.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
• Availability to work up to 20 hours per week during business hours (Monday–Friday,
8:00 AM–4:30 PM).

• Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and financial and operational records.

• Assist with developing, enhancing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Organize, validate, and analyze data to support financial reporting needs.

• Assist with maintaining and improving Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) reports.

• Monitor and triage the AP mailbox, including organizing and routing invoices.

• Perform data entry and attach supporting documents in UF MarketPlace.

• Provide additional administrative and reporting support to the Finance team as needed.

$15.00 per hour.

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Experience with database management, data analysis, and reporting.

• Knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.

• Advanced SQL and Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.

• Familiarity with UF systems, including myUFL and UF MarketPlace, is a plus.
