The University of Florida (UF) Precision Health Research Center (PHRC) within the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified individual to fill the Research Programs Coordinator position. This position will work with faculty to develop, implement, and coordinate projects in translational and implementation science and in developing research projects aimed at improving health care quality and outcomes for older adults.
This position requires knowledge of current translational and clinical research best practices with older adults, experience in compliance with human subject Institutional Review Board (IRB) practices, and subject recruitment activities. The coordinator will collaborate with internal and external research partners, clinical providers and other community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and high motivation to deliver quality work products are a must. |

Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and operating the University of Florida’s Central Energy Plants, including the electrical, steam, and chilled water production equipment. Responsibilities include: operating, regulating and monitoring all Utility Plant equipment in an efficient and safe manner. Creating preventative and corrective maintenance work orders for Utility Plant Mechanics. The position monitors the system controls and evaluates trend performance of plant equipment against an established level of service. The Operator investigates and assists with troubleshooting the thermal plants’ conditions and controls and coordinates with mechanics for equipment shutdowns. Operators help enforce Standard Operating Procedures and maintain a safe working environment as Lockout/Tagout Issuing Agent. The thermal plants are monitored 24-hours per day. Shift work is required. |
