The Clinical Research Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned research projects facilitated by the assigned PI. Duties would include coordinating assigned research studies, recruiting participants, collecting, entering and managing data, and actively participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings. Additional duties would include maintaining accurate and timely study records, maintaining OnCore, running reports, setting up quality improvement projects, coordinating communication, preparing for study visits and working with the clinical team. This position will cover the following (St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin and Okeechobee Counties) and thus will need a reliable mode of transportation and willingness to drive up to approximately 1 hour between clinical locations that will occur on weekdays.

The Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry (PM) Shared Resource in the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research (ICBR) at the University of Florida is recruiting for a Core Research Facility Technician III (CRFT III). This is a full-time position reporting to the PM Scientific Director. The ICBR PM shared resource offers comprehensive molecular analytical services to support a wide range of life science research on campus. The incumbent will work independently to prepare biological samples for mass spectrometry (MS), including Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization (MALDI) workflows for the analysis of peptides, proteins, and metabolites in biological specimens. This individual must be familiar with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), mass spectrometry technologies, and analytical chemistry techniques. The CRFT III must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, possess attention to detail, be able to multitask, and follow strict standard operating procedures. Additional duties include contributions to the development, optimization, and validation of new methodologies that may lead to new service offerings. Commitment to exceptional customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills is required.

The T2 Center also houses the Florida Traffic Safety Resource Center (FTSRC), which supports the Florida Department of Transportation’s roadway safety mission through education and community engagement. The office is located on UF’s East Campus at 2100 NE Waldo Road.

Needed for office support in a Dean's office setting. Duties include: greeting visitors and providing information as needed. Have students waiting for advisors sign in and then notify advisors. Answering the phone and routing them to the appropriate office/Dean. Separate mail when it arrives and put it away in appropriate internal mailbox, filing copying, faxing, data entry (must be accurate), checking in and out of the parking passes and keeping track of who has them, other duties as assigned. Federal Work Study Preferred.
