Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other dedicated employees focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community.
An increasing number of projects involve handling regulated data, which means laws, regulations, and contractual requirements cover the data and the activities to handle and process the data. This means that the computer systems and networks must meet stringent compliance requirements. These requirements consist of technical and administrative controls, making working in the secure environment harder than outside such environments. This position assists the faculty, students, staff and researchers in maximizing the efficiency and efficacy of the workflows while meeting the compliance requirements. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team to support researchers engaged in fascinating projects that each have the potential to change society and the world. |
