Are you passionate about anesthesia and pain management? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of animals and shape the future of veterinary medicine? We are seeking full-time veterinary technicians to join our dedicated anesthesia team.

What Will You Do?

·         Provide anesthesia to patients undergoing procedures, delivering high-quality patient care under the direction of anesthesiologists.

·         Review and interpret a multitude of information to provide an evidence-based approach to patient care, continually monitoring patients to detect changes and intervene proactively to prevent complications.

·         Work closely with specialty services to ensure cases are handled safely and efficiently.

·         Shape future veterinarians and technicians through one-on-one training with our diverse student and staff population.

Are You Qualified?

·         Credentialed veterinary technician preferred.

·         New graduates are welcome to apply!

·         Experience with anesthesia preferred.

What Would Your Schedule Be?

·         Initial schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM - 4:15 PM, to attend rounds with our veterinary students.

·         After training: Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. However, it might shift to 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM depending on the hospital's needs.

We are willing to train new veterinary technician graduates or credentialed techs who have a strong interest and want to grow in the field. Our team includes several anesthesia technicians, including those who have earned their VTS, ready to support you.

Expected Salary:

Non-credentialed Veterinary Technician: $20-$30/hr, salary dependent on experience

Credentialed Veterinary Technician: $22-$32/hr, salary dependent on experience

Minimum Requirements:

Veterinary Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience
Veterinary Technician II: Credentialed veterinary technician

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Credentialed veterinary technician preferred.
