Job Description:

The University of Florida is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Aid Coordinator to provide comprehensive financial aid services to prospective and current students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs at UF Warrington College of Business.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Financial Aid Advising

  • Provide expert financial aid advising services to MBA and DBA students.
  • Interact with students via phone, email, in-person, and letter correspondence.
  • Serve as a one-stop financial aid resource, addressing student inquiries and concerns.
  • Work with students to understand their financial aid needs and develop plans to achieve their goals.

Financial Aid Processing

  • Review and process financial aid applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with the MBA Financial Aid Coordinator III to process financial aid for MBA students.
  • Assist in preparing annual financial aid budgets based on program cost information provided by the College of Business.
  • Utilize financial aid systems and extensive knowledge of federal, state, and institutional guidelines.
  • Formulate individualized correspondence and form letters in response to debt inquiries.

Other Duties

  • Participate in financial aid workshops and MBA program orientation sessions as requested by College of Business master's degree program coordinators.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, faculty, and staff on financial aid-related matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may include occasional travel for financial aid presentations and professional development workshops.
Expected Salary:

$43,888 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Student financial aid experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
