The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time hospitalist faculty position. Duties and responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care and participating in the education of medical students and residents in an academic medical center. The hospitalist will be expected to diagnose, treat, and manage disease, injuries, and disorders of the eye and its associated structures, as well as identify systemic conditions affecting ocular health. The hospitalist will primarily perform ophthalmic consultations in the inpatient and emergency department settings.
