The UF Computing Help Desk would like to welcome you to apply for an entry-level Help Desk Student Assistant position, with a $15 per hour starting rate of pay. We are located centrally on UF campus at the HUB, 1765 Stadium Road, and provide assistance via phone, email, live chat, and walk-in consulting.
Our student assistants are responsible for delivering excellent client service for the UF community of faculty, staff, and students. Ideal candidates have good communication skills, are eager to learn, and are customer-service oriented.
Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
- Assisting clients with Gatorlink account issues such as account creation, password resets, and multi-factor authentication.
- Assisting with email, wireless, and VPN support.
- Helping triage issues to better assist faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
