Job Description: |
The University of Florida College of Nursing (UFCON) is hiring 2 part-time Research Coordinator III team members to support strategic and research initiatives aligned with UF CON Elevate 2029, the college’s bold plan for academic excellence, innovation, and healthcare transformation. Working directly with the College of Nursing Dean, these roles offer a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects at the intersection of nursing education, systems leadership, and entrepreneurial practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance Elevate 2029 goals through data analysis, literature synthesis, and strategic tracking in key areas like workforce transformation, digital health innovation, and academic-practice integration
- Support nursing entrepreneurship initiatives by collecting operational data, aiding business plan development, benchmarking peer models, and evaluating feasibility
- Assist with grant proposals and scholarly writing, including reference management and submission coordination
- Develop and implement evaluation tools for pilot programs, such as surveys, dashboards, and impact assessments
- Facilitate administrative activities including IRB protocols, compliance documentation, meeting logistics, and stakeholder communication
- Contribute to events and strategic communications related to research, innovation, and entrepreneurial initiatives

Expected Salary: |
$28,000 - $38,000 annually

Required Qualifications: |
A bachelor’s degree in nursing, health administration, public health, business, data science, or a related field and three years of experience; or a master’s degree with two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred: |
- Master’s degree in nursing, health systems, entrepreneurship, or public health
- Experience with health-related research or healthcare startup ecosystems
- Proficiency in Excel, REDCap, Qualtrics, Power BI, or Tableau
- Familiarity with innovation principles, stakeholder engagement, and applied research in healthcare
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working with confidential data in healthcare or academic settings.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills across diverse teams
- 20 hours per week; typically Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend hours may be required based on project needs)
