Job Description:

The University of Florida, Department of Medicine, and Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition are seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor with innovative leadership skills and outstanding collaborative skills to become an integral member of the Division’s research faculty working on microbiome function in health and diseases, with emphasis on cancer. Applicants should have a record of distinguished accomplishments and proven track records in investigation, to include ongoing federal (i.e., NIH or equivalent) grant funding and relevant publications within their field of expertise, mentoring new investigators, fostering a progressive and dynamic research environment, and promoting teaching and research. Responsibilities will be completely research based. 

Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must have an MD, PhD, or equivalent professional degree. Candidates must have excellent communication skills.

Preferred: Will consider candidates with a variety of experience levels and who have an interest translational research.
