The University of Florida, Department of Emergency Medicine, seeks a motivated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. Focused on delivering outstanding clinical service in a novel care model, you will collaborate with a dedicated and excellence-driven team to shape the future of emergency care at our new Ocala Neighborhood Hospital.
The UF Department of Emergency Medicine proudly maintains an affiliation with UF Health Shands Hospital, a distinguished 1,162-bed teaching facility renowned for its Level 1 trauma center and cutting-edge burn center. As the primary referral center for North Central Florida, our institution stands as a beacon of excellence in healthcare. New hospital, fresh start. Be among the first to practice in a purpose-built microhospital using an innovative care model.

Manageable volume. Fewer than 10,000 visits expected in year one.

Flexible scheduling. Twelve 12-hour shifts/month.

Team-first culture. Work alongside a tight-knit, collaborative group. Collaborate with nursing, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership
