Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Greet and assist visitors with parking and facility-related questions in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Provide accurate information regarding parking locations, regulations, and available services.
    • Address and resolve visitor concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Transaction Processing:
    • Process credit card transactions for parking fees accurately and efficiently.
    • Ensure all payment transactions are completed following the department's policies and procedures.
  • Event Support:
    • Assist with parking operations during events, including directing traffic, managing parking areas, and ensuring efficient use of parking spaces.
    • Provide support to event organizers with parking logistics and crowd management.
    • Monitor and report any issues or incidents during events to the appropriate personnel.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of transactions, visitor interactions, and any incidents.
    • Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation as required.
  • Other:
    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the Transportation and Parking Services department.
  • Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

    Work Environment:

    • Fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer service.
    • Interaction with a diverse range of visitors, including students, staff, and the public.
    • Involvement in outdoor event settings.
  • A criminal background will be conducted.
Expected Salary:

$15.00 hourly rate

Minimum Requirements:

This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 10 hours per week.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
