Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of strategic marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility and impact of the organization. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role assists in the implementation of marketing plans and project manages a variety of campaigns and marketing efforts. The Marketing Coordinator helps bring marketing strategies to life by coordinating across teams, managing timelines and deliverables, and executing assigned projects with oversight. This position is time limited and soft-funded.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Marketing Collateral Production
  • Leads the production of communications in alignment with the overall strategic plan, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Creates and maintains marketing copy and/or materials for the UF Lastinger Center and associated projects and programs.
  • Oversees and contributes to the production of marketing communications in alignment with program/project goals and the UF Lastinger Center's strategic plan and sales, partnership & recruitment goals across all Center programs.
  • Develops and contributes to presentations for internal teams, external clients, partners administrators.
  • Supports the Sales & Partnerships team with trade booth design & maintenance, support at sales & partnership events.
Marketing Campaigns 
  • Evaluates advertising and promotion programs, ensuring they align with marketing efforts and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Contributes to the development of marketing and advertising strategy.
  • Assists in the development and execution of marketing campaigns (social, web, email, text, direct mail).
  • Provides marketing consultation, production and staffing support for marketing and PR related activities. e.g. conferences, tabling events.
  • Collaborates with internal designers and agencies to coordinate project deliverables and support the execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Creates and maintains marketing copy and/or materials for the UF Lastinger Center.
Market Research, Analysis and Reporting 
  • Analyzes data to inform and contribute to the optimization of communication strategies across multiple platforms and audiences.
  • Identifies target and current users (recruitment) and buyers (sales & partnerships) for Lastinger Center products and services.
  • Researches and identifies marketing/communications audiences, needs and channels
  • Evaluates advertising and promotion programs for alignment with public relations, sales, partnership and recruitment efforts and effectiveness.
  • Devises and evaluates methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arranges to obtain existing data.
  • Supports the development of performance dashboards and campaign analytics.
Expected Salary:

$70,000-72,500. Commensurate based on education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience; or an Associate’s degree and six years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience
• Digital marketing experience
• Trade shows, trade publications
• Biliterate in Spanish
