| Job Description: |
- Providing help in research plot preparation, planting, maintaining, and harvesting.
- Operating a variety of farm equipment for land preparation, planting, and maintenance.
- Responsible for managing irrigation in our research plots and greenhouses.
- Monitoring soil moisture and irrigation function, and after consultation, making necessary changes.
- Troubleshooting the systems on a weekly basis and making repairs as needed.
- Other additional duties as needed and outlined by the supervisor.

$16.00 per hour (40 hours a week)

| Required Qualifications: |
None.
|
| Preferred: |
- Tractor operation
- Familiarity with farm equipment
- Drip irrigation setup and maintenance
- Experience with vegetable crops
- Greenhouse and field spraying experience
- Florida Pesticide License preferred
|
