Job Description: |
The OPS Coordinator will assist with various ongoing projects within the AI Passport initiative in the College of Medicine, ensuring effective coordination of program activities, communication with faculty, and resource management. This role will also involve managing and operating a nephrology scanner, which includes scheduling, maintenance, and secure data management to support biomedical imaging research. The position demands strong organizational skills, technical ability, and effective communication to ensure the training program and scanner operations function efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and oversee program schedules to ensure that all deadlines and events are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize ClickUp for effective task tracking and approvals to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Manage updates to LMS/Canvas content and media, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained.
- Ensure effective and timely communication among faculty, mentors, and participants.
- Ensure that scanner data is managed securely and in accordance with privacy regulations and research standards.
- Provide training to authorized users on the operation of scanners, safety procedures, and data management protocols.

Expected Salary: |
$23-26/hr

Required Qualifications: |
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as biomedical sciences, health sciences, engineering, or information technology; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- At least one year of experience in project coordination, research administration, or technical/laboratory support.

Preferred: |
- Hands-on experience operating and scheduling biomedical imaging equipment or similar laboratory instrumentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of secure data management practices, including compliance with HIPAA, IRB, or other research privacy standards.
