Job Description:

This position, part of the IT Support team in the CFO’s Office, primarily provides end-user support to users across the CFO Division, along with a variety of ad-hoc IT tasks. Duties include:

  • End-User Support: The primary responsibility of this role is to provide timely end-user support to users across the Division. This role will be expected to effectively triage issues as they arise and solve or escalate accordingly. End-user support will be provided for the entire CFO Division, including Criser Hall, East Campus, Elmore Hall, and Tigert Hall. 
  • Continuous Improvement:  Proactively evaluate processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of the outcomes. This includes reviewing current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing optimizations and customizations.
  • Finance Module Support: Serves as a backup for the administration of the finance module. Some tasks might include investigating issues with deposits, worksheets, journals, or reconciliation and creating/modifying queries.
  • Website: Assists with content updates and quality control on the CFO Division websites.
  • Month-End Close Support: This role will be trained on month-end close procedures and will serve as a backup.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned
Expected Salary:

$53,000 - 65,000; commensurate with education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

General:
- 1-3 years in relevant position
- Change management experience
- ERP platform experience (PeopleSoft or Workday)

Certifications:
- CompTIA A+ - foundational certification for IT support roles
- CompTIA Network+ Helpful to understand network-related issues

Technical Skills:
- Basic networking knowledge
- PeopleSoft UI and navigation experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe products

Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Effectively prioritize many tasks at once
- Attention to detail

Critical Thinking:
- Customer experience oriented
