Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide care in early pregnancy management clinics and complex contraception clinics.
- Perform second-trimester procedures in the operating room.
- Participate in inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including Labor & Delivery coverage.
- Care for patients qualifying for Florida’s pregnancy care law exceptions (fatal fetal conditions and severe maternal indications).
- Collaborate with faculty across the department to advance patient care, education, and research in family planning.
Academic & Educational Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents in obstetrics, gynecology, and family planning.
- Contribute to didactic, simulation, and clinical education within the residency program.
- Participate in departmental committees, conferences, and academic activities.
- Engage in scholarly activity and/or clinical research, with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across UF Health.
