UFIT Web Service is in the Center for Instructional Technology & Training (CITT) a unit of -Academic Technology. We are seeking an entry level Web Developer to contribute to the success of our team. Able to build and apply industry standards to design visually appealing web sites using HTML and CSS, ability to apply web coding standards, knowledge of web accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1.a plus.
Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
- Supporting customers in a web content management system such as TERMINALFOUR or WordPress
- Collaborate with peers to develop and implement user driven web accessible templates and interfaces for ease of use.
- Front end web development and hands on the development of web applications utilizing languages such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, HTML5, Python or PHP
- Strong customer service skills
