| Job Description: | The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships (SFA) is looking for a Student Financial Aid Coordinator II to support financial aid operations within the College of Medicine (COM). In this role, you will assist the Financial Aid Assistant Director in managing aid for students in Graduate Medical Education, Physician Assistant Studies, and Medical Education programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Student Financial Aid Advising & Support 
Provide comprehensive financial aid advising to prospective and current students across the College of Medicine Guide students through all stages of the financial aid process via various communication methods.Assist in the creation and review of COM scholarship applications and renewals, along with conducting 1st year entrance counseling.Participate in financial aid workshops and program orientation sessions and conduct presentations upon request from COM program coordinators.Aid in collecting academic calendar date information and preparing annual financial aid budgets based on program cost data provided by COM. Award Decisions 
Collaborate with University staff to process departmental awards.Evaluate student and parent demographic and financial data to make award decisions.Analyze student applications and related data for eligibility and compliance.Collaborate closely with the Assistant Director to process financial aid for students across various COM programs.Draft individualized correspondence and form letters regarding debt and aid inquiries.  Additional Duties 
Recruit, train, evaluate, and supervise student assistants assigned to the area.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.Occasional travel for financial aid presentations and professional development workshops. | 
| Expected Salary: | $47,500 annually | 
| Minimum Requirements: | Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience. |

Student Financial Aid experience preferredExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsMicrosoft Office Suite proficiency  |
