| Job Description: | This position assists the UF/IFAS Annual Report Publication Coordinator, who works with the UF/IFAS (Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences) Office of Research, in preparing the UF/IFAS annual report of peer-reviewed journal articles for submission to the USDA in late-March 2026.  Work on the project will consist of creating 27 separate unit lists in EndNote, Excel, and Word, which in total contain approximately 2,400 citations and a master list of unique citations in EndNote Web, Word, and Excel.  Attention to detail is extremely important.   Duties and Responsibilities:  
Downloads article citations from Scopus, Web of Science, and journal websites into EndNoteVerifies all citation elements are correct in EndNote and Word/ExcelReviews each citation for compliance with established publication guidelines, which includes verifying:
that article is in its “final form” in 2025(not online first/preprint/first look, etc.)the journal and article type of the citation are both peer-reviewedat least one of the referenced authors is affiliated with UF and the unit Reviews all the final lists to ensure accuracy Hours:  30-40 hours / week (see more information under Schedule) Length of Employment:  approximately December 9, 2025 – March 26, 2026 Schedule:   
Work hours are Monday through Friday (between the hours of 8 am – 5 pm)20 hours are expected December 9th-18th  during training and the beginning of January30-40 hours are expected to be early January through late MarchPlease note that there will be a pause in work from December 19, 2025- January 5, 2026. Work resumes January 6, 2026. |
