Job Description:

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Florida is seeking applicants who wish to pursue an academic career in Advanced Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, multi-mission track. The Candidate will hold a University of Florida appointment and become part of our current group of 16 faculty. This candidate will be expected to perform medical and surgical management of a wide range of inflammatory and skull base conditions. The Candidate will perform both inpatient and outpatient services and will collaborate with the Department of Neurosurgery. The candidate will also be responsible for teaching residents, fellows and medical students, and preferably will engage in the research activities of the division. The desired candidate should possess a strong commitment to both clinical practice as well as resident teaching.

For those candidates with a keen interest in pursuing research as part of their academic career, the UF College of Medicine is a superb location to practice as it offers excellent intramural funding opportunities in addition to traditional government funding mechanisms. The other members of the Advanced Rhinology division are collaborative R01-funded researchers. Total extramural funding during FY25 for UF Medicine was more than $450 million. Protected time for research is available for qualified candidates who receive research funding. Mentorship from experienced faculty members will be provided for candidates without prior independent research experience and/or funding.

Expected Salary:

Salary, rank and tenure status will be commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications:

Fellowship in Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull base is required.

Preferred Qualifications Strong interest in clinical care, teaching and research.
