Job Description:

The Department of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, non–tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Scientist level in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine.

The successful candidate will work in the research laboratory of Dr. Borna Mehrad, supporting studies focused on mechanistic modeling of innate immune responses in the lung in human diseases and relevant animal models.

Applicants must hold a PhD or equivalent degree and demonstrate a strong record of research productivity and scholarly achievement in pulmonary immunology and host–pathogen interactions, as evidenced by prior research experience and peer-reviewed publications. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a team-based research environment.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.
