• Academic administrative experience
Job Description:

In addition to their current duties, the Director will work with the SBE Undergraduate Coordinator and the MISD Graduate Program Coordinator to undertake the following duties:
- strategic planning, engagement with the Governance Committee and the Program Advisory Board
- curriculum planning and management, course staffing, and budgeting
- student outreach and engagement; and work with the College’s Advancement team to foster alumni and public relations and increase fundraising
- prepare annual reports and contribute to the letters of evaluation for participating faculty
- research engagement and creative scholarship, and also will act as the Coordinator for the Siemens Lab located in the Ramos Collaboratory.
- manage the program’s website

Required Qualifications: • Master’s degree from an accredited institution or other internationally recognized accrediting body in architecture, construction management, interior design, landscape architecture, urban and regional planning or allied disciplines
• Teaching experience at undergraduate and graduate levels
• Applied experience in the area(s) of expertise
• Evidence of student-centered approach to teaching and learning
• Academic administrative experience
Preferred:

• PhD in architecture, construction management, interior design, landscape architecture, urban and regional planning or an allied discipline
• Active professional licensure
• Participation in academic or professional associations with a particular focus on sustainability, and/or resiliency.
• Establishing and implementing a strategic plan with clear goals and outcomes
