- Payroll Support & Oversight – Reviews preliminary and final pay lists, troubleshoots payroll entry errors, and communicates departmental payroll deadlines to guarantee submissions before UF payroll cut‑offs. Assist in payroll approval and guide managers on payroll and leave‑management concerns.
- Compliance, Recordkeeping & Policy Communication – Interpret and apply Federal, State, and University HR regulations. Maintain employee files, prepare reports, and audit documentation as needed. Update procedure manuals, assist in policy changes, and communicate new rules to staff and supervisors.
- Training & Development Coordination – Monitor required training compliance (orientation, annual & renewal courses, and specialized faculty–staff programs). Assist with professional‑development opportunities as needed.
- Recruitment & Hiring Support – Collaborates with campus hiring managers on position‑description creation, posting of vacancies, assists with preliminary screening of candidates, requesting clearance for hire, and dispensing applicant pools.
