| Job Description: |
- Human Resources – Create and update job descriptions, recruit, conduct onboarding and exit interviews, handle employee relations and disciplinary actions, maintain personnel data and UF‑Engaged evaluations, administer orientation and training programs, and design morale‑boosting initiatives.
- Finance – Oversee day‑to‑day accounting, guide the Finance Analyst in budget management, coordinate grant‑reporting, and ensure all financial communications are accurate and timely.
- Institutional Leadership & Interaction – Work cooperatively with other UF divisions, devise short‑ and long‑term plans for the business office, conduct staff performance reviews, participate in senior‑staff policy development, and represent the museum at professional meetings.
- Other – Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned.

| Expected Salary: |
$61,000 - $75,000
|
| Required Qualifications: |
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with UF PeopleSoft human resource and accounting systems
- Knowledge of accounting and budgetary systems, financial records, accounting controls and procedures
- Demonstrated skill set with Microsoft Office applications

| Preferred: |
- Experience in managing a personnel program, including labor relations, compensation, personnel policy and procedure development and interpretation; non-profit and public sector experience
- Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration in both the public and private sectors; current Federal, State, and local employment law; principles of organization and management
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, motivate, lead and relate effectively to a wide variety of individuals
- Exceptional and demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills to foster effective working relationships at all levels
