Incumbent is responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, and providing material support for educational programs for various agricultural enterprises in the Suwannee Basin with emphasis on increasing adoption of conservation practices and Best Management Practices (BMPs) that will improve efficiency of rainfall, irrigation, and plant nutrients applied on farms. Incumbent will develop, in collaboration with other partners, an outreach program to increase adoption of enhanced BMPs with emphasis on agronomic, vegetable and cow calf operations. Incumbent is responsible for conducting, delivering, and writing reports for educational programs and on-farm demonstration trials. Incumbent will be required to have a valid Florida driver’s license and will be required to travel frequently to area farms.
