Cornea Specialist (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor)

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor specializing in Cornea and External Diseases to expand our academic practice. Salary, rank and tenure status will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The College of Medicine has a competitive faculty compensation plan, which includes incentives and bonuses. Employer will assist with relocation costs.

Requirements include completion of an ACGME approved ophthalmology residency program as well as a postgraduate fellowship training in cornea and external diseases. Board certification or eligibility and licensure (or eligibility) to practice medicine in Florida are prerequisites.

Qualifications, in addition to clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching, resident training, and research as well as participation in academic activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills are important.
