The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor specializing in Cornea and External Diseases to expand our academic practice. There is immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice in an established longstanding department with a brand new, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. Salary, rank and tenure status will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The College of Medicine has a competitive faculty compensation plan, which includes incentives and bonuses. Employer will assist with relocation costs.

Qualifications, in addition to clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching, resident training, and research as well as participation in academic activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills are important.
