Job Description:

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville invites applications for an adult licensed psychologist. This position is a full-time faculty member at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor or full professor. The position entails outpatient provision of evidence-based assessment and treatment of adults (cognitive behavior therapy, family therapy, trauma-informed, interpersonal therapy etc.) and/or psychological testing. Successful candidates must be committed to working with diverse adult community populations. Preferred experience with providing psychotherapy for individuals, couples and groups, in addition to experience in grant writing and teaching. Expertise at the doctoral level would be extremely beneficial both for our patients and for our training programs. This position will be an integral part of our developing psychology post-doctoral fellowship program. This department is especially interested in candidates who can participate in the training and education for the department's general psychiatry residency and post-doctoral fellowship programs and contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching and/or service. The person filling this position will be expected to have their own therapy caseload. They will also provide clinical supervision and/or mentoring to master's level therapists and therapists in training (LMHC or social work interns) to ensure current, evidence-based practices are taught and offered to our patient population. There are opportunities for both clinical research and supervision and teaching in associated residency/internship programs. The successful candidate will have an appointment in the Department of Psychiatry. With excellent benefits package and salary depending on credentials and experience. Expected Salary:

 Salary is negotiable; commensurate with experience and qualifications.

BE/BC is preferred.
