The Department of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, non–tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Scientist level in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine.
The successful candidate will work in the research laboratory of Dr. Jane Yu, supporting studies in rare diseases, including tuberous sclerosis complex and lymphangioleiomyomatosis. The position offers an opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research focused on cell differentiation, cellular metabolism, biochemistry, and preclinical study of drug efficacy.
Responsibilities • Conduct independent research in biochemistry and molecular biology. • Develop and implement innovative research plans. • Collaborate with faculty and researchers. • Mentor and train postdoctoral fellows, students, and lab technicians. • Publish research findings in high-impact journals. • Apply for intramural and extramural funding to support research initiatives
