FWS/OPS - Part Time

• Our operating hours are from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday; must be able to commit to 15 – 18 hours per week

The College of Education’s Student Services is recruiting part-time Federal Work Study (FWS)/OPS students to join the team for SUMMER 2026. Student assistants are responsible for assisting in the administration of departmental activities and providing a welcoming environment for students.

Applicants should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work independently. Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service and assisting student, staff, and faculty inquiries
• Answering phone calls and email inquiries
• Performing clerical duties that support departmental operations
• Maintaining discretion and confidential information
• Assisting with college events and office projects.

This position is open to currently enrolled students and all majors are welcome to apply. This position has the potential to continue in the Fall and continuing semesters.

$14.00 per hour

Preferred Qualifications:

• Punctual and reliable
• Experience in customer service
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva
