The Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Lab in the University of Florida Department of Neurology is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate to join an interdisciplinary team using MEG and multimodal neuroimaging to advance biomarker discovery and mechanistic modeling in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). The position is embedded in a translational environment supporting integration of MEG with structural MRI, diffusion
imaging (DTI), fMRI, PET, and complementary clinical/research measures, with access to high-performance computing via UF HiPerGator.

Job Description:

About This Role

  • Develop, maintain, and document MEG preprocessing/analysis pipelines
  • Integrate MEG-derived biomarkers with MRI-based measures for multimodal modeling and discovery
  • Contribute to manuscripts, conference abstracts, and grant-related products; collaborate with clinicians and imaging teams
  • Mentor trainees as appropriate and support reproducible research practices

Expected Salary:

$60,000 - $65,000; Commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Psychology, or closely related field Demonstrated MEG analysis experience (FieldTrip/Brainstorm/MNE-Python or similar)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MRI/fMRI/DTI, PET, multimodal fusion, and/or machine learning
  • Strong programming skills (Python/MATLAB), version control, and HPC workflows
