Job Description:

Manage all administrative functions of the M500 Consulting Anesthesiology interns. Direct interns in the design, development, and execution of their projects and provide actionable items for follow-up. Report project management status to key stakeholders and the management team. Evaluate and recommend modifications to current methods to improve patient management and business operations across all stakeholders, including surgical departments, pre-surgical clinic, OR operations, and faculty group practice clinics. Delegate appropriate tasks and deliverables to department staff and interns. Provide meaningful feedback and professional development opportunities to interns.

Create reports within EPIC, BusinessObjects, and Qgenda Insights to analyze clinical, operational, and financial data and identify process improvement initiatives. Maintain routine reports and identify methods to optimize efficiency. Process data and develop analytical tools and dashboards to facilitate leadership decision making. Identify improvement opportunities through the use of workflow diagrams, gathering data, performing analyses, and monitoring metrics. Develop dashboards and reports with key performance indicators, metrics, data points, and formulas to support management objectives. Assist leaders in investigating and designing strategic initiatives to improve operational workflow, budget variances, reporting capabilities, and overall performance.

Participate in department management meetings, clinical coverage, OR operations, and other meetings as necessary to experience executive-level decision making and meeting management. Coordinate and lead all meetings among stakeholders, capture meeting minutes and assignments, and update all materials that correspond with progress towards collaborative goals and initiatives. Engage in opportunities to improve public speaking, presentation, and data analysis skills.

Expected Salary:

$70,000 - $75,000

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Master’s degree in a related field. This position is intended for early careerists.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Proficient use of Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and data management software. Prerequisite knowledge isn’t essential; however, the ability to effectively learn and apply these skills is necessary.
Analytical problem-solving abilities with people and processes.
