OPS Assistant for the Biological Sciences Labs

A Bachelor’s Degree in a science related field (preferably in biological sciences, chemistry, or biochemistry) is preferred with successfully passed college-level lab courses in biology and chemistry.

Assist in preparation, set-up and clean-up for Introduction to Biology teaching labs. The duties include making chemical solutions, setting up for molecular and biochemical experiments, organize supplies and equipment, wash glassware, update inventories, maintain Drosophilia sp. Colonies, plus other tasks as needed.

$17 per hour

Applicants should be capable of lifting 30 pounds and spending several hours on their feet.  Need to be able to work independently, work well with others, and work a flexible schedule that prioritizes Monday work.
