Student Assistant Bike Mechanic-SG Bike Repair

A student assistant is needed as a Bike Repair mechanic for Student Government to work 10-20 hours a week.  The employer is looking for a customer service oriented, professional, and detail oriented person to aid in the daily operations of SG Bike Repair.  Individuals with prior experience as a mechanic or working with bicycles preferred.

• Assist in opening and closing the Bike Repair shop.
• Assemble, inspect, maintain, and perform routine repairs on customers’ bicycles.
• Assess customer needs and confirm service and repairs meet those needs.
• Assist with maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, secure and safe work environment.
• Various other duties as assigned.

$16.00/hr

     • Prior customer service skills

• Bicycle maintenance experience
