| Job Description: |
The Sustainability Studies program, in association with Ethics in the Public Sphere and UF CAIRES, is seeking a student assistant for the 2026–2027 academic year. The student assistant will support communications, events, and program operations and provide general clerical and administrative support as needed.
- Assist with planning and organizing events
- Create publicity materials (flyers, digital content, announcements)
- Support social media efforts for both programs
- Update and maintain program websites using WordPress
- Provide general program and administrative support as needed

| Expected Salary: |
The salary is $15/hourly.

| Required Qualifications: |

| Preferred: |
- Major or minor in Sustainability Studies and interest in ethics
- Commitment to remain in the role for at least one year
- Experience with WordPress or other website management systems
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Basic photography and photo editing experience
