| Job Description: |
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Provide program leadership, vision, and direction to achieve statewide impact.
- Develop and manage budgets, staffing, contracts, and program reporting.
- Supervise program staff, provide mentorship, and foster professional development.
Travel and program development:
- Coordinate statewide diabetes screening and outreach activities in collaboration with UF faculty, state agencies, and community organizations.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships across academic, clinical, governmental, and community settings.
- Direct the design, implementation, and evaluation of technology-enabled diabetes education and management initiatives.
Data management and research development:
- Support development and oversight of diabetes tissue biobanking operations.
- Collect, analyze, and report program outcomes for UF leadership, the Florida Legislature, and funding agencies.

| Expected Salary: |
$63,000 - $70,000 annually; commensurate within this range based on qualifications and experience
|
| Required Qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree in in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
- Master’s degree in nursing, public health, health administration, biomedical sciences, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- PhD, Master of Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or active nursing license (ARNP or equivalent).
- Experience in diabetes prevention, management, or research.
- Familiarity with continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), health technology applications, or artificial intelligence in healthcare.
- Proven success in managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives and budgets.
- Track record of partnership development and cross-sector collaboration.
