SUMMARY OF POSITION ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Annual Giving Data Analyst is responsible for the execution and analysis of all data requirements associated with stewardship, direct marketing, pipeline development and donor engagement. Reporting to the Annual Giving Data Manager the incumbent will perform portfolio updates supporting Annual Giving outreach programs, powered by autonomous AI agents, data analysis to evaluate programs, create and maintain records, reports and dashboards, and utilize data modeling, with the goal to help the Annual Giving and Donor Relations teams. Additionally, this position will work with individual users and design, code and test reports, and determine specific reporting enhancements. This role will work collegially with colleagues in Donor Relations, Data Information Systems and project managers to effectively deliver on their data needs.
Donor Relations Data
- Set up and deliver all Donor Relations recurring data requests. Work with team members to understand data needs and reduce amount of manual effort required for each request after data is gathered.
- Work with AG Data Manager and Senior Director of Donor Engagement to create, update and improve current data request process, providing data to the Donor Relations team in an efficient and streamlined workflow.
- Create visually pleasing and easy to read reports that support Donor Relations strategies and help achieve new campaign goals.
Annual Giving Data
- In partnership with annual giving project managers, segment and deliver all data for AG Programs and project execution.
- Support data needs around Annual Giving’s autonomous AI fundraising initiatives, creating, maintaining, and assigning the portfolio for outreach and engagement and meeting all ongoing data requirements for this process.
- Provide historical analysis on AG programs data to drive future decision making and reporting metrics.
Reports and Dashboards
- Create visually pleasing and easy to read reports that drive strategy within the departments and for colleges/units of annual giving.
- Assist with modifying and editing Donor Relations reporting services to allow self-service reporting options for standard requests.
Analysis
- Modify interactive dashboards, on-demand reports, and visualizations, utilizing existing software such as Cognos, Salesforce, Tableau and other web platforms, to drive the strategic decisions and daily workflow of annual giving and donor Relations team.

| Expected Salary: |
$53,000-$60,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2+ years of business and/or marketing analysis and data gathering experience; project management skills and IT competency, especially with a large database system.
- One year of relevant work experience analyzing and modeling datasets and creating reports and dashboards.
- The ability to meet deadlines, be self-motivated, and work independently.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to be a team player with proven relationship and influencing skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues from a variety of functional areas.
- Proven ability to learn new software and navigate complex databases; strategic and analytical thinker.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-tasking, flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities.

- Experience using SQL and statistical analysis software, such as SPSS.
- Experience in Salesforce, Advizor Solutions, Advance C/S, Cognos, Tableau CRM, Einstein Analytics
- Proficient in the following areas: Windows operating systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, as well as internet browsers and email platforms. Familiarity with donor databases, contact management systems, and tracking systems is also highly preferred.
