| Job Description: |
A Post-doctoral Associate in Polymer Science position is available for graduates to work on a project on the macromolecular synthesis and polymer properties led by Dr. Austin M. Evans in the Department of Chemistry. We have a position available in our group to work on exploring polymer topology for the advancement of dielectric materials, improving mechanical performance, and understanding fundamental properties of new-to-market materials.
Must have a PhD in Chemistry. This position will be initially awarded for the length of available funding, and, contingent upon strong performance and conduct and availability of funds, may be renewed for up to one year.

| Required Qualifications: |
Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field.

- Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiasm for working on multidisciplinary projects
- Experience with fabricating polymer films and/or thermosets
- Knowledge of polymer characterization techniques (DMA, DSC, tensile testing, TGA, etc.)
