The Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Medicine is seeking enthusiastic and qualified applicants to fill the MGR, Healthcare Administration position.
The manager serves as a senior member of the division’s administrative leadership team and exercises independent judgement in managing programs, resources, and personnel. Primary responsibilities are to complete administrative tasks across the tri-partisan mission including clinical trials budget negotiations and invoicing, faculty compensation plan analysis & ad hoc reporting, budgetary preparation, variance reporting, clinical operations and human resource assignments. The role requires the ability to interpret and apply accounting principles to transactions; to work accurately with numerical detail; and to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data. Additionally, this role is responsible for the day to day operations of the Infectious Diseases Administrative Office and serves as a liaison for all faculty and staff. This position will report directly to the Assistant Director.

Clinical Trials Research Administration
The manager will provide leadership, oversight, and direct management of clinical trials administrative activities including clinical trial negotiations, regular invoicing, and ad hoc analysis in support of clinical trials research faculty and team. This position, with the support of the Division Administrator, will lead the division in advancing its clinical trials research mission.
Project Management – Clinical Operations
The manager will lead complex clinical operational initiatives and process improvement efforts for the division, ensuring alignment with divisional strategic priorities and regularly assessing outcomes and presenting these initiatives to faculty and leadership. They will function as a project manager for defined clinical initiatives or root causes analysis investigations. This will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, data analysis, and managing to timelines/deadlines. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Divisional clinical software scheduling system that impact the Divisions clinical mission.
Budgeting and Variance Reporting
The incumbent will be responsible to help the Assistant Director with budget and prepare associated financial reports for divisional or administrative units (as assigned) including variance and root cause analyses. Responsible for the accurate reporting and monitoring of physician productivity as divisions assigned require. The incumbent will be responsible for completing assigned sections for annual budget, monthly variance reports and for completing monthly RVU forecasting tools.
General Administration – Human Resources
This position will assist the Assistant Director with all HR tasks for processing of Faculty/TEAMS/OPS hires, effort reporting, advising staff on onboarding procedures for new faculty & staff. This position will be responsible for completing evaluations, performance metrics/action plans and schedules for direct reports.
Other Duties
Prioritize assignments based on urgency or deadlines and works cooperatively with others in the Department to ensure that all assignments are completed in a timely manner and meet or exceed the standards for quality and performance. Other duties as assigned. This position would also serve as the backup for the Division Administrator when they are out of the office.
