| The Institute on Aging (IOA) at the University of Florida is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator III to join a nationally recognized aging research program dedicated to improving health, independence, and quality of life for older adults. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative clinical, translational, and population-based research while collaborating with leading investigators, clinicians, trainees, and community partners.
The coordinator serves as a senior research staff responsible for coordinating a diverse IOA portfolio of NIH-funded and investigator-initiated studies focused on healthy aging and age-related conditions. The successful candidate will independently manage complex research activities across multiple concurrent projects and serve as a key liaison among investigators, research participants, sponsors, regulatory bodies, and collaborating institutions. Broad responsibilities include managing IOA clinical research projects and people to serve on research projects. Tasks include IOA clinical research management, study implementation, budgeting, supporting participant recruitment and retention, regulatory compliance, implementing and maintaining data quality systems, and operational coordination throughout the research lifecycle. The role will also oversee a growing clinical research enterprise that involves implementing and maintain systems for inventory, asset tracking, equipment utilization, and research space scheduling and organization.
This role is ideal for a highly organized and proactive individual who enjoys balancing participant-facing research with project leadership responsibilities. The position requires independent judgment, advanced knowledge of human subjects research and Good Clinical Practice, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities while ensuring compliance with University, Institute, sponsor, federal, and state requirements. |
