| Job Description: |
Administers departmental functions such as mail, purchasing, travel, reimbursements, coordinate campus visitors and important department events. UF Foundation paperwork, maintaining updated records for office-related matters and events.
Manages and maintains Course Scheduling System for Engineering-General, Engineering Education, Computer Engineering. Coordinates the course offerings each semester with HWCOE department representatives. Create section numbers and attach proper Special Program Codes and fees. Work with the Registrar and the College to schedule classrooms for Engineering-General, Engineering Education, and Computer Engineering. Input instructors and grade authorization.
Manages and maintains records for admission, degree certification, registration for interdisciplinary programs.
Maintain peer mentor training records, coordinates with faculty and HR to hire OPS student workers.
Additional tasks as assigned by the department chair.

| Expected Salary: |
$21.00-$23.00 per hour; commensurate with education and experience

| Required Qualifications: |
High school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

| Preferred: |
Must have excellent customer service skills, and work professionally with others in a fast paced office environment.
Knowledge of university scheduling procedures and the on-line registration process; ability to collect, maintain, access, and extract student records for the preparation of scheduled and special program reports; knowledge of university academic rules and regulations; skills to operate a desktop computer system using of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, copier and facsimile equipment; ability to use the campus network and internet; ability to maintain professional and effective communication with departmental representatives, distance learning students, site coordinators, and technical managers at locations worldwide; ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments; skills to work in team and establish effective working relationships with others; and the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and enact problem solving techniques.
