The University of Florida is looking for an Admissions Officer II to support admissions recruitment and enrollment initiatives through the planning and execution of high-impact events and student engagement activities. In this role, you will coordinate admissions and recruitment programs, manage event logistics and communications, and collaborate with campus partners to deliver exceptional experiences for prospective and admitted students and their families, and serve as a resource throughout the admissions process, including advising applicants and conducting freshman holistic application reviews.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Admissions Event Planning & Coordination
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with campus partners, academic colleges, alumni, student organizations, and other stakeholders to support admissions programs.
- Manage invitations, registration systems, attendee communications, and other event-planning resources.
- Ensure communications and event information are accurate, timely, and audience-focused.
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and campus partners.
- Gather and compile attendee and stakeholder feedback following events.
Admissions Operations
- Provide admissions counseling to prospective students and families through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Conduct freshman holistic application reviews in accordance with university policies and procedures.
- Advise applicants regarding admissions requirements and supporting documentation, including transcripts, test scores, application fees, and other credentials.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on admissions policies, procedures, and enrollment processes.

$47,500 annually
