FWS-Gallery Sitter 

Applicants should be available to begin working September 10, 2026. Applicants must be a student at the University of Florida. Applicants must be approved for Federal Work Study. Applicants must be able available to work 1-2 Saturdays each month when an exhibition is open.

Applicant will be responsible for monitoring the Gary R. Libby University Gallery's exhibition space as well as greeting gallery visitors during open hours. Applicant will be responsible for the opening and closing of the Gary R. Libby University Gallery during exhibitions. The gallery is open to the public Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 10am - 6pm and Saturday 12 - 4pm. The gallery closes for University holidays including spring break as well as during exhibition installations. Applicant will be expected to work approximately 7-10 hrs./week during the semester when the gallery is open.

Applicants must be punctual, reliable and professional. Applicants must be able to stay throughout the entirety of their assigned times. Applicants must be willing to interact with Gallery visitors as necessary and follow the Gallery protocols.
