Classification Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Description: Provides first line of support and problem resolution for selected programs and services. Provides customer service for patients accessing multi-disciplinary outpatient clinics (at multiple locations) serving pediatric and adult patients, including HIV infected and affected populations. Expedites check-in/check-out process by reviewing appointment status to view information regarding appointment and insurance information. Collects pre-visit payments and communicates with clinical team members regarding factors impacting the patient visit and general clinic-patient flow. Works with integrated patient centered medical home team to provide patient care and perform administrative duties in a friendly and helpful manner.
Expected Salary:

$17- $18 hourly depending on education and experience

   
Preferred Qualifications:
Two to four years clerical/customer service experience preferred, ideally in a health care related industry serving HIV/AIDS population. One year experience with third party payors, and computer experience for imputing data and reviewing patient demographic material preferred.
