| Job Description: |
The UFLI Data Coordinator will be responsible for participating in all aspects of UFLI research planning, implementation, and dissemination. This person will oversee data collection, curation, and management; participate in project and data analysis plan development; and contribute to reporting and dissemination. This person will develop and maintain data management protocols. This position is also responsible for management and oversight of institutional review board protocols. This role will also involve extensive collaborative work with other UFLI personnel. This individual will also be expected to keep detailed records of all activities and develop periodic reports.
Data Management
- Designing and managing systems to collect, clean, store, organize, maintain, and integrate data to support advanced analysis.
- Collaborating with faculty, graduate students, and others to support project-related data management processes.
- Managing access to data.
- Adhering to research and data security protocols.
Research design and analysis
- Advising faculty, graduate students, and others on research design and analyses.
- Collaborating on proposal writing for grants and other projects.
- Coordinating institutional review board protocols.
- Analyzing Data.
Dissemination of research findings
- Collaborating on manuscript and report writing.
- Collaborating on presentations of research findings.
- Communicating and presenting results to faculty, collaborators, donors, and others.
Others duties as assigned.

| Required Qualifications: |
A Bachelor’s Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and three years of experience; Master’s Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and one year of experience; Doctoral Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field.

| Preferred: |
- Doctoral Degree in education.
- Relevant education research experience.
- Experience managing large education-related data sets.
- Familiarity and experience with UFLI instructional models.
- Familiarity and experience with evidence-based literacy interventions.
- At least three years’ experience teaching in K-5 schools.
