Classification Minimum Requirements:
  • Current University of Florida student.
  • Commit to working 12.5 hours per week.

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have experience or interest in leadership development, communications, outreach, or student engagement.

Job Description:

Leadership Development Resources
Assist with the development of leadership resources, guides, toolkits, workshops, learning modules, and educational content aligned with BCLS leadership competencies for undergraduate student experiences.

Outreach, Presentations, and Student Engagement 
Promote BCLS during campus and community events, classroom presentations, and student organization outreach. Assist with strategic outreach initiatives to increase awareness and participation in BCLS programs.

Social Media & Digital Engagement
Gathering social media content and digital communications highlighting leadership tips, program opportunities, and student engagement stories. Assist with graphics, videos, and educational posts that make leadership concepts accessible to students.

Program, Event, and Administrative Support 
Provide logistical support for workshops, trainings, and outreach activities; assist with event promotion and participant engagement; track outreach activities, engagement metrics, and program participation; and support additional projects that advance BCLS goals.

Expected Salary:

$14/hour (increase September 2026 to $15/hour)

Required Qualifications:

•Current University of Florida student.
• Commit to working 12.5 hours per week.
• Commit to at least two semesters in the role.

• Have experience or interest in leadership development, communications, outreach, or student engagement.

Preferred:
  • Experience with public speaking, presentations, or facilitating workshops.
  • Experience with outreach, marketing, graphic design, or digital content creation.
  • Interest in leadership education, student development, or student affairs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
